Our Rest Hours module has been certified

To ensure the wellbeing of seafarers, decent working conditions and to prevent fatigue on ships.

As users of Cloud Crewing know, our module enables companies to easily connect on and offshore teams to collaborate on every aspect of crew administration. Prepare on-board payroll and expenses in line with complex international and company-specific standards. Manage personal data, plan shifts and schedule crew changes. With detailed reporting and auditing, Cloud Crewing also caters for specialist nautical requirements like the officer‘s matrix for tanker crewing and rest period documentation.

Therefore, we are especially happy that our Rest Hours module has been certified by Lloyd’s Register as in compliance with guidelines and standards recommended by the Organisation, and to the STCW Code (as amended) Section A-VIII/1 Fitness for duty, Sections 2 and 3 and ILO MLC, 2006. The MLC, 2006 was adopted by government, employer and worker representatives at a special ILO International Labour Conference, in February 2006, to provide international standards for the world’s first genuinely global industry. Widely known as the “seafarers’ bill of rights,” it is unique in its effect on both seafarers and quality ship owners.

Ensuring the wellbeing of seafarers, decent working conditions and to prevent fatigue on ships are key factors to achieve a reliably working ship as well as an efficient crew and officers. We implemented all standards necessary as stated in our certificate. Enabling you to avoid problems with Port State Control.

You can find a detailed listing of all requirements and parts of the Convention in the official MLC document by the International Labour Organization (ILO).
