We are continuously upgrading Cloud Fleet Manager, adding new functionality, enhancements and improving the overall usability. With this article, we would like to give you a brief overview of some of the greater edits to the system. For a comprehensive overview of all changes, you can visit the “What’s New” report in Cloud Fleet Manager at any time to see what exactly happened in each of our modules.

New features and enhancements

CFM Charter allows you to draw up contracts in a few steps and automatically create invoices. Easily conduct laytime calculations, forecast earnings from charter agreements and execute post calculations.

  • Dashboard charts now include filter options, with info icons providing insights into visualized data.
  • Time charter's bunker quantities feature a 'History' section for read-only access to past entries.
  • The invoices overview now displays the total balance of invoices based on filter criteria, alongside the overall total balance.
  • Delivery and Redelivery bunker quantities can be entered with up to three decimal points, ensuring precise cost reflections.

CFM Crewing is your one-stop solution to handle all crew-related tasks centrally and in an intuitive way. From master data management of seafarers, planning the crews on board as well as their relief, the management of working and rest hours of the crew up to managing payrolls, everything can be done in one single solution.

  • Seafarers' profiles in the 'Particulars' subtab have been reorganized for easier access and navigation.
  • Flight request modals now feature improved field positions and sizes for enhanced user experience.
  • Payment Accounts endpoint includes IDs for individual bank and e-wallet accounts, streamlining financial operations.
  • 'SeamanSearch' API now offers new filter options for medical certificates, enhancing search capabilities.
  • ShipClient's flight ticket creation process has been optimized; tickets are generated upon saving with mandatory airport information.
  • Special allotments in ShipClient feature a new ‘Requested Payment Date’, adding precision to payment scheduling.
  • A new 'Payment Account Details' export is available in the Payroll Dashboard, providing vessel-specific payment account information.

CFM Event Reporting lets you make the most of your data and gain real insights into the performance of your fleet by monitoring a wide variety of key figures. By monitoring reports about times of arrival and departure, the begin and end of sea passage (BOSP/EOSP), bunker consumptions, times of anchorage or lay-up as well as noon reports, CFM Event Reporting lets you see the big picture of your fleet – enabling you to conduct further analyses.

  • ROB values are now read-only and automatically calculated, enhancing data accuracy.
  • Departure reports mandate port entry before finalization for completeness.
  • Main engine consumption selection is now limited to ROBs.
  • Data validation ensures 'Sailed Distance GPS in Reporting Period [NM]' aligns with the distance between two consecutive reports, considering service speed and a 5% tolerance.
